How Does WhatsApp Plus Handle Backup and Restore Compared to Official WhatsApp?

Hi everyone, I’m considering switching to WhatsApp Plus for the added customization features, but I’m a bit concerned about how it handles backups and restores. Can you easily back up your chat history and media like you do with the official WhatsApp? If so, does it integrate well with Google Drive, or is there a different process? I’d love to know if anyone has had experience with this and if the transition was smooth.
